Halloween 2004



We had a record turnout this year, perhaps as many as 2000 trick-or-treaters who enjoyed
our decorations and our basset hounds, and who each received a piece of candy from a supply
that had to be replenished halfway through the evening. The weather was beautiful, the kid's
costumes were imaginative, behavior was uniformly unrowdy, and a good time was had by all,
with the possible exception of a few little'uns who were too scared to come up to the door.

 

Next to the Bates Motel sign, the most popular single attraction. I think more people know
who Chuckie is than who is the President!

 

"Come back, come baaaaack!!.... OK, so Halloween's
over. Well... come back next year!"
