Halloween
2005

After some early season rainfall made me nervous about weather conditions
for Halloween, October 31st arrived in beautiful shape, brilliant sunshine all
day and a nice cool evening. My ghosts were my main new item this year, and
they proved to be very effective. We had a massive turnout and despite the
large supply of candy I had laid on, we almost ran out. There were no
vacancies at the Bates Motel, and once again our basset hounds Maggie
and Myrtle proved to be immensely popular with the visiting trick-or-
treaters.
