The trailhead for the Cactus Spring trail is located 8 miles east of the junction of SR74 and SR371 in the Santa Rosa Mts. The round-trip distance to Horsethief Creek is 4-3/4 miles and to Cactus Spring about 9-1/2. An upside-down V next to the common name indicates a taxon that was new to me when I photographed it on this field trip. |
