Strigose lotus Acmispon strigosus Fabaceae |
||
This is the plant that was first published as Lotus tomentellus by Edward Lee Greene in 1898 and then as Lotus strigosus var. tomentellus by Duane Isely in 1798. The Jepson eflora does not currently recognize it at a varietal level, but IPNI records that it was published in 2020 in the journal Phytoneuron by Luc Brouillet as Acmispon strigosus var. tomentellus, so that name may be coming back. |
